Robert Davis “Bobby” Mauck, 75 of Knox City, Mo., died home on January 25, 2016 . Bobby was born on June 20, 1940 in Knox City, the son of Williams Robert and Lelah Davis Mauck.

He was united in marriage to Frances Lee Tedder in Wichita Falls, Texas on May 2, 1967.
Bobby grew up on the family farm. Farming was his life, sports of any kind was his love. Bobby played for O’Donnell’s, Milts, and the Ozark National teams during his softball playing years. Bobby was a St. Louis Cardinals fan and an even bigger Knox Co. Eagles fan.

He graduated from Knox City School in 1958. He attended Northeast Missouri State Teachers College from 1958-1961. Bobby sold insurance for Bankers Life and Casualty Company from 1973 to present.

Surviving is his wife of 48 years, sons, Kenneth Lee Hargrave (Juliet) of New London, Robert Lee Mauck (Sherri) of Knox City, daughters Deborah Ann Dick (Jim) and Angela Marie Miller (Clint) all of Edina, 11 grandchildren: 8 great grandchildren with two more expected and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

he was preceded in death by his parents William and Lelah Mauck, sister Sherry Gouldschaal, sister in law Dodie Leftwich and brothers in law Glenn Goudschaal, Cliff Leftwich, and Frank Tedder.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held January 29, 2016, in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edina, MO. Father Colin Franklin officiated, assisted by Deacon Ken Berry.
Burial was in the Knox City Cemetery, Knox City, Mo.
