Oh my, NBC says its only 63 days until Spring, but it doesn’t seem like that while I’m sitting in my living room watching the birds. For the camera buffs, this is a beautiful morning for pictures as the snow is clinging to everything making it white, It snowed til around noon, outside of Ewing on Saturday and when the sun came out it was a winter wonderland.

Sympathy goes to one of the long-time members of Lewis County, Charles Peacock, he lived south of Lewistown and at the Ewing Senior Housing

Another family lost their mother this week, Nina McKenzie. I knew her when we would gather at my grandma Shires’ home. She lived just west of my grandpa’s/dad’s farm. I’ve always thought of her as Nina Sharpe. She walked across the field on Sundays to play with kids who were visiting that day. She was very talented in music, among other things. This is a great loss to the family.

Our school system is started to experience some of the problems that go along with Covid. This Friday there was no school, due to the shortage of teachers calling in sick, plus the threat of bad weather.

Don and myself got good reports from our Doctors.  We are doing good for two old people.

Mon. morning at 7:10 a.m. There is a beautiful winter moon going behind a group of clouds, then peaking out again. It was like watching a sunset, what a beautiful surprise and it was breathtaking and so unusual to see as the northern sky turned pink, and beautiful. Stay warm and safe.
