Canton Library Hungary Presentation

December 08, 2021

With another fascinating glimpse into far-away lands, Canton Public Library is excited to welcome Nellie, Zita and Zalán Robertson to the library on Tuesday, December 14 at 6:00 PM for a presentation about Hungary. Nellie, born in Hungary, is old enough to remember the country’s transition from socialist rule to a democratic system. Zita and Zalán, ages 13 and 10, were born in the US and the family has lived in the Canton area for ten years.
The family enjoyed an extended stay in Hungary for the 2020-2021 school year. They are full of fresh information about everyday life in Hungary, but they are also eager to discuss the country’s history, geography, architecture, religion, education, you name it! On a lighter note, questions about holidays, food, and tourism are also welcome. Please join us!

The library is located at 403 Lewis Street in Canton. It is open Tuesday - Friday 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturdays 10 AM to 2 PM. Visit the library at www.cantonmopubliclibrary.org, on Facebook at Your Canton Library, or call 573-288-5279.
