FORREST WAYNE GRIESBAUM

Forrest Wayne Griesbaum, 71 of Stockton, California, formerly of Maywood, Missouri, died August 5, 2021 at San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp, California.

He was born February 17, 1950 at home in LaGrange, Missouri a son of Forrest (Frosty) and Norma Jean (Hull) Griesbaum.
Forrest Wayne was raised in the Lutheran faith. He retired from research and development in the food industry at ConAgra Foods in Gilroy, California. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam conflict and was stationed in Germany.

Survivors include three children, Jason (Nancy) Griesbaum of Marshal, Wisconsin, Heather (Dave) Melton of Cambridge, Wisconsin, Erin (Eric) Hicks of Stockton, California and four grandchildren, Jacob Miller, David and Avery Melton, Ethan Hicks, two brothers, Daniel (Janet) Griesbaum, David (Linda) Griesbaum all of Maywood, Missouri, one sister Ola Gail Wilson (Ernie) of Ewing, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

Forrest Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, brother Steve Griesbaum, brother-in-law Kim Wilson, niece Paula Smith and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing with Pastor Josh Thrower officiating. Pallbearers: Eric Hicks, Philip Wilson, Kegan Wilson, Garth Wilson, Andrew Griesbaum, John Griesbaum.

Visitation will be held August 14, 2021 from 9 a.m. until time of services at the Ball-Davis Funeral Home.

Burial with military honors will be in Maywood Cemetery, Maywood, Missouri

The family suggests memorials be made to the Maywood Cemetery Association.
