I have never been much of a baker but I am trying to learn how to bake pies. All of my previous attempts tasted good but I have a hard time with them looking “pretty”, and it is my goal to bake pies as “pretty” as Judy Wheeler. Last week, I was able to obtain some seedless blackberries and baked a pie for Sam and Mary Jean Wheeler and Robert and Rita Kirchner. It was great fun visiting with them and I hope they enjoyed their pie. They all said they were going to top with ice cream!
Marcia Hardin is making progress with the updating of the Shrine of St. Patrick Museum. Marcia has been busy cataloging all of the news articles obtained over the years from several church members, framing historical articles, and updating the Shrine Museum with the artifacts. The Museum is a treasure trove of not only Shrine items, but also contains St. Patrick School and town of St. Patrick memorabilia and is well worth a visit.
The Oak Hollow Campground held their annual Ladies Day weekend this past weekend to a great group of ladies that enjoyed the Friday night mixer and Pool Party on Saturday. This is always a fun time and a super weekend getaway for the ladies.
