COLLEEN FELDKAMP

Colleen Feldkamp, 79 of Canton, Missouri died July 31, 2021 at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri.

The daughter of Harry and Elizabeth Barnett Smith was born on August 21, 1941 at Canton, Missouri.

Colleen was a lifelong member of the Canton Christian Church. She graduated from Canton High School Class of 1959. She devoted her life and passion for helping people by volunteering as a medic for the newly formed Lewis County Ambulance District. She worked for the district for 27 years as an EMT and crew chief. She enjoyed tending to her plants, gardening, canning, helping with the food pantry and meeting with the morning Ayerco coffee club. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family gatherings.

She is survived by her three children, Jimmie English & friend, Angela Downs Power of Williamstown, Mo., Cheryl English of Williamstown, Mo. and Paula (Tony) Morrall of Canton, Mo.; five grandchildren, Jeffery, Matthew, Abigail & Zachary English and Trevor Morrall; great-grandson, Lukas English; and several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Joyce “Joy” Dillon, brother, James Dean Smith and former husband, Paul Feldkamp.

Memorial services will be held Friday, August 6, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at the Canton Christian Church in Canton, Missouri. Visitation will be held Friday. August 6, 2021 from 4 p.m. until the time of services at the Canton Christian Church.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
