JOSEPH RALSTON WALLACE

Joseph Ralston Wallace, age 13, of Ewing, Mo., died July 17, 2021 at St. John’s Women and Children’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

He was born September 18, 2007 in Quincy, Ill., a son of Joseph Michael and Danika Nicole Phillips Wallace.
Joe was a member of the Highland High School Class of 2026. He loved to be with his friends, gaming, especially PlayStation online with friends, being outdoors, riding horses, four wheelers and motorcycles and spending time at the Splash Station Pool in Ewing.

Joe was an excellent big brother, worked hard to accomplish tasks before play and build things like his own gaming computer.

He was baptized at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church and was attending Hester Community Church.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Danika Wallace of Ewing; one brother Kashton Wallace of Ewing; his grandparents, John and Lori Wallace of La Belle, Mo., Dona Phillips of Palmyra, Mo., and David (Lora) Phillips II of Williamstown, Mo.; great grandparents, Raymond and Rosalee Bruns of Hamilton, Ala.; three uncles, Ryan Wallace of La Belle, David Phillips III of Canton, Mo., and Nate Phillips of Venton, Ia.; one aunt Carlie Phillips of Fairview, Tenn.; also, several cousins including Memphis Phillips and Suny Wallace and many friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his cousin Mason Hagar-Wallace.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Hester Community Church near Maywood, Mo., with Rev. Lance Bonnell officiating. Visitation will be held July 21, 2021 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hester Community Church.

Pallbearers: David Philips III, Ryan Wallace, Nate Phillips, Memphis Phillips, Jerran Geisendorfer and Dustin Speer. Burial will be in La Belle Cemetery, La Belle, Mo.
The family suggests memorials be made to Ronald McDonald House in Springfield, Ill.
