Lions Club Fishing Derby

The annual LaGrange Lions Club fishing derby was held at Wakonda State Park on June 12, it was also free fishing day in Missouri, where a fishing license is not required. The annual fishing derby is a fun event and many youngsters develop a lifelong passion for the sport. There were over 30 participants and many had good luck at catching fish. Prizes were awarded to the kids. LaGrange Lions Club members and Missouri Department of Conservation helped with the event.
