Lewis County General Election Results

April 14, 2021

The Lewis County General Municipal Election was held April 6. Low voter turnout was expected due to number of office position were unopposed. A total of 131 ballots were cast which was 5.24 percent turnout. Unofficial results for Canton are: Mayor, incumbent Jarrod Phillips received 40 votes, Canton alderman ward one, Robin Bracey had 15 votes, Ward 2, George Hausdorf had 13 votes and in Ward 3, Sharon Upchurch had 11 votes.

Scott Hoffman had 56 votes for Mayor in LaBelle, Ottie Lewis had 60 votes for LaBelle Collector, North Ward, two aldermen were elected with Roy Lewis Sr. with 25 votes and Linda Goodson had 21 votes. Andrea Hamilton had nine votes. LaBelle Alderman, South Ward one alderman elected, Sindey Doscher had 16 votes over Carmen Baker Cuni with 15 votes. the LaBelle Proposition Tax Levy passed with 45 yes votes and 18 against.

In Lewistown, Wes Sharpe is north ward alderman with nine votes and Bill Geisendorfer won in South Ward with 16 votes.

Vancell Scifres was elected Dickerson Special Road District Board member with one vote.
