JOSH McINTOSH

Joshua Michael McIntosh, 37 of Canton, Missouri died March 19, 2021 at his home in Canton.

The son of Kyle and Lori Woodson Shannon and Raymond McIntosh was born on September 30. 1983 at Hannibal, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Morgan Leonard on August 17, 2013 at Canton, Missouri.

Josh was of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Canton R-V School Class of 2002. He liked being outdoors, hunting, fishing, collecting arrow heads, camping canoeing and noodling. He also liked to trade baseball cards. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his best friend, Nathan Lair.

He is survived by his grandfather, Donald Vannetta of Arizona; grandmother, Betty Shannon of Canton, Mo.; mother and dad, Lori (Kyle) Shannon of Canton, Mo.; wife, Morgan McIntosh of Canton, Mo.; two children, Noah and Marissa McIntosh; sister, Danielle McIntosh of Canton, Mo.; brothers, Shawn Shannon of Canton, Mo. and Chance Shannon of Monticello, Mo.; mother-in-law, Sue Leonard and Bill Myers of Canton, Mo.; his father, Raymond McIntosh of Center, Mo., and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Vannetta, grandfather, Wayne Woodson, grandfather, Harold Shannon, grandparents, Keith & Judy McIntosh, a brother, Christopher McIntosh, father in law, Ed Leonard, and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services and visitation were held March 23, 2021 at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri with Rev. Brian Stone officiating. Honorary Pallbearers: Nathan Lair, Chance Shannon, Shawn Shannon, Kegan McIntosh, Tara Bunch, Cyle Buckwalter, Pernell Schroder and Steve Merrell.

Private inurnment will be in Forest Grove Cemetery.
