Mrs. Kathaleen Miller, 92, of Canton, MO., died December 9, 2020 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

She was born March 27, 1928 near Kirksville, MO a daughter of William Albert and Iva VanWye Clark. She married Charles Lee “Bud” Miller on September 24, 1955 in Kirksville, MO. He died on February 14, 1985.

Kathaleen grew up on a farm near Sperry, MO. She graduated from high school in Kirksville in 1945. Upon graduation she worked at the Bank of Kirksville. After she and Charles “Bud” were married they lived in Edina while he worked at Fessler Motors for 12 years. Later they moved to Canton in December 1970 to open the Chevrolet/Oldsmobile dealership where she was the bookkeeper from 1971 to 1986. She always put her family first and was always there for any member of the family.
She was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Canton, MO and in earlier years served on the kitchen committee. She was also a member of the Lewis County Nursing Home Ladies Auxiliary in Canton where she came up with many activities for the residents. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, gardening and cooking. She also enjoyed shopping trips with family. She and her sister, Gaile, kept everyone in Christmas ornaments and Cabbage Patch dolls. She also collected angels.

Survivors include one son Bryan Miller of Canton; one nephew, Leonard (Vicki) Clark of Kirksville, MO and several great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one infant son Steven Dale Miller, one brother Kenneth Clark, three sisters, Gaile Clark, Belle Ratliff and Lila Forquer and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held December 14, 2020 at the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Canton with Pastor Dawn Gerard officiating. Music by Karla McReynolds. Pallbearers: Brad Darr, Brent Darr, Bruce Darr and Leonard Clark. Visitation was held prior to services.
Burial will be in Parkview Memorial Gardens in Kirksville, MO.
