Canton Trunk or Treat Events
The Canton Kiwanis will host their annual Trunk or Treat and costume parade on Oct. 31, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The Trunk or Treat route will begin staging along Second Street behind the Canton R-V Playground, with cars turning onto Montgomery Street and enter the Canton R-V parking lot using the alley between Second and Third Street. The Canton Fire Department will guide traffic. At the end of the Trunk or Treat route, each child will have the opportunity to participate in the 89th annual Kiwanis Costume Parade. A drive-thru lane will be created for children to exit their vehicle to have a picture taken for the parade judges. Cars will exit the Trunk or Treat at Third and Madison.

The First Baptist Church of Canton will have their Trunk or Treat on Oct. 31 beginning at 6 p.m. in the church parking lot on White Street. This is a drive through event and participants are asked to stay in their vehicles. Join them to learn more about The Promises of God. Arrive in the parking lot between 6 and 7 p.m. to receive the first location clues for additional seven stops. Each stop will be passing out candy for your children. Adults must be present to drive, read and locate clues. Last clue will be handed out at 7 p.m. All stations will close at 7:30 p.m. For more information contact 573-288-5583.
