LaBelle Grain Bin Collapse

A grain bin in LaBelle. Mo., collapsed around after midnight on April 15. The bin is owned by ADM. No injuries have been reported and Highway 6 near the site was open this morning. Several nearby homes were evacuated and the collapse knocked down power lines. A break in the bin was noticed on the afternoon of April 14. The bin was pushing out from the concrete foundation. Some grain was removed before the collapse of the bin which was holding about 130,000 bushels of corn. Officials are currently still on scene and accessing the situation.
