Donna Faye Ledbetter, 76, of LaBelle, Mo., died February, 3, 2020, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born November 8, 1943, in Knox City, MO, the daughter of Carl and Maurita Golbricht Parrish.
Donna received her education in the LaBelle High School. She worked for 10 years at LaBelle Manor Care Center and 29 years at Knox County Nursing Home as activities director. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, camping and the St. Louis Cardinals. Donna was a loving mother, grandmother and wife and enjoyed time with her grandchildren
She was united in marriage to Larry Ledbetter on September 11, 1961, in LaBelle, MO.
Surviving are her husband Larry Ledbetter of LaBelle, MO, three children, Tammy Parish of Quincy, IL, Cindy Shehadeh of Quincy, IL, and Billy Ledbetter of LaBelle, MO, one brother Lindsey Parrish of LaGrange, MO, two sisters Freida Brooks of Thorndale, TX, and Margie Tarpein of LaGrange, MO, six grandchildren, Bryson, Bailey, Baxter, Alex, Cody and Tyler and two great grandchildren, Riley and Ella Shehadeh. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, one son Rick Ledbetter, one sister June McCabe and one brother Nelson Parrish.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 7, 2020, at Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Mo. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 7 p.m. with a short prayer and service. Pastor Paul Burton will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
