DORIS I. LANGE

Mrs. Doris I. Lange, 97, of Independence, Mo., died 21, 2019 in the Villages of Jackson Creek Nursing Home in Independence.

Doris was born April 15, 1922 in Newark, MO a daughter of James Samuel and Goldie Zuspann Chapman. She married Herman Thomas Lange on April 5, 1943 in Ewing, MO. He died May 24, 2008.

Doris was a homemaker and spent 46 years living in Blue Springs, MO until her move to the Villages of Jackson Creek a few years ago. She was of the Protestant Faith.

Survivors include her only brother Donald D. Chapman and his wife Lawana of Ursa, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Graveside services and burial were held October 25, 2019 in the Ewing Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Elmer Hagood officiating. Visitation was held Oct. 25, 2019 until time of service at the Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Ewing Memorial Cemetery.
