DEBRA MICHILA ABELL

Debra Michila Abell, 64, of Ewing, Mo., died August 2, 2019 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

She was born January 3, 1955 in Terre Haute, IN a daughter of John C. and Elizabeth Ann Inglert Reynolds. She married Steven G. Abell on January 21, 2003.

Debbie was most recently employed at Fastlane Truck Stop in Taylor where she was loved by her co-workers and customers. Her many hobbies included knitting, crocheting, multi-media art, singing old country and western songs where she was featured for many years at the Ridgerunner Jamboree. Nature, she truly enjoyed hummingbirds, her squirrels and all the rest of her birds that visited. She loved raising animals wild or tame, but her most beloved is her white wolf/husky “Princess” aka, Sissy. She graduated from Northeastern Wayne High School in 1981 and had participated in Gymnastics, she had also graduated from Indiania University East.

Survivors include her husband Steven of Ewing; mother, Elizabeth Ann Reynolds of Lawrenceburg, IN; two children Dennis M. Dean Jr. of Miamisburg, OH and Dana M. Dean of Hannibal, MO; two step-children, Shane (Melissa) Abell of Durham, MO and Kelsey (Cory) Cottrell of Ewing; grandchildren, Destiny Dean, Cassidy Barnhart, Dennis Dean II, Dylan Dean, Melani Dean, Mason Cottrell, Peyton Abell and Tatum Cottrell; great grandchildren, Brantley, Blayze and Braxxtyn Barnhart and Cyrus Bledsoe; brothers, David (Korlyn) Reynolds of Colorado Springs, CO and John D. Reynolds of Lawrenceburg, IN and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents Wilbur and Kathleen Inglert and Edgar and Izora Reynolds

Celebration of Life Services were held August 5, 2019 at the Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing with Rev. Elmer Hagood officiating.

Suggested memorials are to Steven Abell to help defray expenses.
