RENE ROMERO

Rene Angel Romero, 50, of Coolidge, Arizona, died June 30, 2019, in Arizona. He was born March 13, 1969 in Coolidge, Az to Robert and Adelaide “Lila” Romero. He had been employed by Coil Manufacturing, LaGrange Foundry, Titan Wheel and Manchester Tank. Rene had lived in the LaGrange area for several years.

Those of you that knew him well we can say “he was one of a kind.” He had a heart of gold and would do anything to help a friend. He was very social and made friends with everyone. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a man of simple pleasures. He enjoyed playing darts. He liked boots and hats and the Dallas Cowboys.

Surviving is his son, Josh Romero. Also surviving are his mother, Lila Salazar, a sister Becky Romero, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, a great-great niece, cousins, uncles, aunts, extended family and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bobby”Romero, brother Robert “Wedo” Romero, Uncle Angel, grandparents and best friend from Coolidge.

Services were held at Coolidge Heritage Mortuary in Coolidge, Arizona, on July 8. Deacon Manuel Murrietta officiated.
