Benefit for Rebecca Dreyer to be held

A benefit event is being held for Rebecca (Keith) Dreyer on June 29 at Mr. Goodtime, Hwy 6, Tolona, and at Queen of Peace Catholic Hall, Ewing. Rebecca has been battling Crohn’s disease for approximately 11 years and was recently diagnosed with histoplasmosis. She is travelling between Missouri and Minnesota to visit physicians at Mayo Clinic.

Beginning at 10 a.m. at Mr. Goodtime with a poker run and sand volleyball. At 12 p.m. there will be a car show with judging at 3 p.m. At 1 p.m. there will be a Texas Hold ‘em tournament.

Doors open at 3 p.m. at the Queen of Peace Catholic Hall in Ewing. Poker hands for the poker run will be drawn from 3 to 5 p.m. A pulled pork dinner will be served 5 - 6 p.m. A silent auction will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. and a live auction at 6 p.m. Raffles will be going on throughout the night.
