REGAN LOIS KENNER

Regan Lois Kenner, 94, of Canton, Mo., died October 21, 2018. in the Lewis County Nursing Home at Canton, Mo.

She was born December 11, 1923 in London, England and throughout the years maintained her British citizenship. She was the only child of Reginald William and Dorothy C.F. Rolls Kislingbury. She married Grant F. Kenner on July 25, 1945 in London, England. He passed away on March 7, 2001.

As a part of the Canton community since 1969, Regan is remembered mostly for her swimming and time spent as an assistant coach and stroke judge for the Canoka swim team. During this time she herself swam in The Masters and Senior Olympics, setting several world records.

Regan was a British WWII veteran and worked cable and wireless translating code for the British admiralty during the war. This led her to become a Blood drive coordinator/volunteer with the Red Cross for most of her life; donating over 24 gallons of blood, saving countless lives.

Regan was an active supporter of the National Humane Society. She loved to travel and took many cruises to distant locations documenting her travels with photographs. Regan will be missed, loved, and remembered by many.

Survivors include her children: Scott F. Kenner and Keith R. (Paula) Kenner of Canton Mo., and E. Jane (Ron) Greene of Bakersville, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Dr. Rex D. Kenner.

The family suggests memorial be made to the Missouri Humane Society in care of Davis Funeral Home, Canton, MO.
