Nelda Rae Crider

Nelda Rae Crider, age 90, of LaBelle, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018, in the LaBelle, Manor in LaBelle, MO. She was born September 7, 1927, in Roseville, IL, the daughter of Everett and Wilda B. Kessler Tripp.

She was united in marriage to Vance Neil Morrow at LaBelle, MO and he preceded her in death in 1984. To this union five children were born. She was united in marriage to Leo Marvin Crider and he preceded her in death. Nelda was also preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Patty Morrow and Bonnie Jean Miller, one son Donnie Morrow and a sister Kathryn Buss and brother Robert Tripp. Surviving are two daughters Cheryl (Owen) Grove of LaBelle, MO and Connie (Jeff) Miller of LaBelle, MO, one sister Wanda (James) Sodom of St. Louis, MO, a son-in-law Craig Miller of Knox City, MO, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Nelda received her education in Williamstown, MO graduating in 1945. She was employed at several restaurants in the area and was employed with the LaBelle Manor in housekeeping and as a dietary aide. She loved farming with her husband Vance during their married life. She also enjoyed bingo, dancing, cards, hummingbirds and Betty Boop.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO. Reverend David Atkins will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Deer Ridge Cemetery.

Musical selections will be Wind Beneath My Wings and How Great Thou Art.

Casket bearers will be Owen Grove, Tony Grove, Donnie Hubble, Jarrett Hubble, Evan See and Elvin Parrish.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018, from 10 a.m. till time of services at 11 a.m. in the Coder Funeral Chapel.
