Count your age by friends not years.

I have added a year to my age since my last column, Wednesday I turned 80 .and lots of friends and family members made the week go smoothly.

Doug, Teresa and Brad Martin came Wednesday evening, Kevin Martina and two grandchildren, Rebecca and Landon came Saturday evening,

JoAnn Hawkins and Karon Peer took me to lunch on Friday. Also Doris West and Susan Williams called Friday afternoon. I received several cards with nice notes enclosed and phone calls from Betty and Don Barron , Rita Black and Anthony Martin.

My gifts were a new porch step, a half dozen red roses, my computer, fixed, again. And best of all lots of grandma hugs. Life is good.
