The 2018 Lewis County Fair is dedicated to Robert and Rosemary Taylor. The couple were married in 1955. They have four children, William, Cathy, Molly and Jere, and grew up of the farm. They now have 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. In 1965, the family started milking Guernseys for Prairie Farms. Bob became a certified artificial inseminator and traveled the northeast region helping other farmers breed their cattle. Bob served as President for the Lewis County Fair Board 1976-77. At that time much of the livestock was housed in tents during the fair and recalls helping to build the 4-H building, Commercial Building and Home Ec Building. Bob and Rosemary still farm. They enjoy talking with friends and neighbors each year at the fair and watching the events.
