Alexander Clayton Calvert, 21 of Canton, Missouri died July 5, 2018 in rural Canton, Missouri.

The son of Shane Calvert and Susan Crawford was born on May 13, 1997 at Quincy, Illinois.

Alex was a great daddy, who was loyal, hardworking, handsome and fun loving. He was very protective of his mom and siblings and would give you the shirt off his back to help. He could fix anything and he liked to be in nature, fishing and riding four-wheelers, and let’s not forget his love of bacon and anything sweet.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Crawford of Quincy, Il. and father, Shane Calvert of Canton, Mo.; a daughter, Audrey Calvert and life partner, Hannah Cobb of Canton, Mo.; maternal grandfather, Marc Crawford of Quincy, Il; paternal grandmother, Debbie “Nana” Current of Canton, Mo.; sister, Kristin “Kiki” Tucker of Quincy, Il.; two brothers, Lucas Noble of Quincy, Il. and Wyatt Calvert of Canton, Mo.; uncles, Dustin Calvert of St. Joseph, Mo. and Jared Crawford of Quincy, Il.; aunts, Mellissa Cook and Sarah Calvert both of Quincy, Il.; nephew, Kordin McColez; several cousins and many friends that he considered family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Karen Burrows and paternal grandfather, Lysle Calvert.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at The Crossing Church, 48th & Broadway in Quincy, Illinois with Pastor Rob Watson officiating.

Immediately following the service, a luncheon will be held at The Crossing Church.

Memorials may be made to the Audrey Elizabeth Calvert Memorial Account at Mercantile Bank in Quincy, Illinois.
