Memorial Day Services

The American Legion Otto Bruner Post 170 of Canton will have a Memorial Day service in Forest Grove Cemetery on Monday, May 28. It will start at 10:30 a.m. at the gazebo. Attendees are asked to bring chairs. Guest Speaker will be Culver-Stockton College President Kelly Thompson. On May 26 at 9 a.m. flags are being placed in Forest Grove Cemetery on nearly 500 veterans’ graves. All help is appreciated. Flags will be picked up on May 29 at 9 a.m.
Memorial Day Services conducted by the American Legion Post 578 of Lewistown will be held   Monday, May 28, 2018 at   10 a.m.  at the Lewistown Cemetery and 11 a.m. at the Monticello Cemetery.

The speaker will be Steve Austin of Lewistown.  He is a 1973 graduate of Highland High School and a retired Air Force veteran.  He worked in various fields during his Air Force career. Everyone is welcome to attend the services.
