DENNIS BAILEY

Dennis Keith Bailey, 66 of Lewistown, Missouri died April 5, 2018 at his home in rural Lewistown.

The son of Robert and Mildred Wehrmann Bailey was born on January 15, 1952 at Hannibal, Missouri.

Dennis was a member of the Park United Methodist Church of Lewistown.  He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and a Mizzou sports fan.  He liked fast cars and loved his pets.

He is survived by his mother Mrs. Mildred Bailey of Lewistown, Mo.; a sister, Judy Bailey of Kansas City, Mo.; two nieces, Erin (Randy) Davis of Kansas City, Mo. and Laura (Brad) Hawkinson of Lenexa, Kansas; an aunt, Claire Wehrmann of LaBelle, Mo.; and cousins, Wyverne (Bernita) Penn of Quincy, Il. and Richard Penn of Auxvasse, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his father, aunts, Elnora Wehrmann and Edith Bailey Penn, uncles, Lloyd Wehrmann, Ernest Bailey and Kenneth Bailey, and a cousin, Larry Penn.

Graveside funeral services and burial will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 1p.m. in the Lewistown Cemetery at Lewistown, Missouri with Rev. Carolyn Leaver officiating. Pallbearers: Mike Logan, Doug Lay, Danny Dannenhauer, Allan Golloway, Gary Penn and Tim Penn.
