Murphy’s gas station- Ribbon Cutting

A ribbon cutting celebrating the opening of Murphy’s in Monticello was held April 6 in Monticello. Pictured are: Monticello Mayor Vancil Scifres, owners Brian and Kate Murphy and Ann and Eric Murphy, and Monticello board member Tim Grgurich. The business was formerly the Fillin Station and has been closed for remodeling in recent weeks. The business is open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Sunday hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The kitchen is open and a variety of food is offered including breakfast. An article featuring Murphy’s will be in an upcoming edition.
