Ricky Gene Ledbetter

Ricky Ledbetter, better known as “Rick”, was born on November 11, 1962 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to parents Larry and Donna Ledbetter. Rick went to be with our Heavenly Father on March 1, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones.

He spent his childhood growing up in La Belle, Missouri, before moving down south to Texas. He was always a sociable and friendly person to all he met. His friends would say that he was the life of the party and was someone who would always enjoy having a good time. He spent most of his working years as an entrepreneur within different lines of business.

With resilience and a strong will, he fought and overcame many battles in his life. He grew up with a love for sports and animals, which is something that he passed down to both of his sons, Tyler and Cody. Anyone that knew him would know that he was a diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and the Texas Rangers. He was a man who always supported both of his sons in their endeavors and aspirations and taught them valuable life lessons to help them become the young men that they are today.

Rick is survived by his loving sons Tyler Scott and Austin Cody Ledbetter, his parents Larry and Donna Ledbetter and siblings Billy Ledbetter, Tammy Parrish and Cindy Shehadeh.
