ROGER JULIAN RENFRO

Mr. Roger Julian Renfro, 67, of Canton, Mo., died February 11, 2018 at 12:45 a.m. at the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton, Mo., surrounded by the love of his life Tyla Renfro and sister in law, Gail Tasco.

Roger was born September 30, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisc., to Betty Renfro Baily and Roger Schwartz. He married Tyla Tasco in Las Vegas, NV on August 11, 2002. She survives.

Anyone that knew Roger knew that he loved life and that his favorite hobbies were playing Domino’s, going to the Casino and fishing. He was also an advisor to some, no matter what subject it was—and he always had the answers. He will be deeply missed by many.

Roger had been raised in the Catholic Church, joined Green Chapel Baptist Church in La Grange and was currently a member of the Canton Christian Church.

Roger was a Marine CorpsVeteran of the Vietnam War and had also served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Tyla Renfro of Canton; mother, Betty Baily of Palmdale, CA son, Kevin Renfro of Milwaukee; daughters, Nina Evans and (special friend, Jeff Reed) of Milwaukee, Cherry Renfro and (special friend Shywan Mathis) of Milwaukee, LaNelle Renfro (Junior) Fulk of Dallas, TX, Cameo Renfro of Denver CO, Brianna Renfro of Pacoima, CA, Kamyn Renfro of Lancaster, CA and special daughter, Dahlia Eleden of New Jersey; brother, Brian Washington of California; sisters, Denise Green of Milwaukee, Joann Gaston Boyd of California and Rosie Beasley of California; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren also, best friend, Michael“Bubba” May of Lancaster, CA, loved like brothers, William Smith of Nanjemoy, MD and Zach Seymour of Chicago, IL, favorite aunts, Claudia Harris of Milwaukee, Jackie Grace of Henderson, NV and Gloria Isaac of Milwaukee.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Evelyn Carter, uncle Jerry Carter, his father Roger Schwartz, his father and mother in law, Hartley and NormaTasco and an infant child.

Graveside services, military honors and burial will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Memorial Cemetery in La Grange with Rev. John H Mims officiating. Pallbearers: Virgil Owens, Dermaine Lloyd, Tee Bell, Sheldon Tasco, Russell McMullen Jr. and Todd Tasco

Honorary Pallbearers: Peter Stapp, and Russell McMullen Sr.

The family suggests memorials be made to Tyla Renfro to be designated at a later date.
