BETTY JANE DOSCHER

Betty Jane Doscher, 81, of Wentzville, Mo., formerly of Lewis County, Mo., died February 9, 2018 at the Parklane Care and Rehabilitation Center in Wentzville.
She was born on May 8, 1936 in Edina, Mo., a daughter of James Guy and Mamie G. Anderson Kincaid. She was of the Christian faith.
At a young age she went to live with her Aunt and Uncle, Barbara and Sterling Kincaid of Edina who took her into their home and loved her as their own. She was united in marriage to Lyle C. Shutts and to this union two daughters were born.
Betty co-owned Lewis County Auction Service in Lewistown for 25 years. She enjoyed making floral arrangements and owned Ann-Lynn Florist in LaBelle and later owned and operated the Flower Mill in Canton for a number of years. She loved to cook for everyone and was very patriotic. She was a member of We Modern’s Club of Lewistown, Mo., and she loved her grandkids.
Survivors include daughters; Barbara (David) Porter of Foristell, MO and Kelli (Robert) Richardson of Palmyra, MO; three grandchildren, Brooke (Ryan) Shaw of St. Louis, MO, Darcy Porter and friend, Joel Daniels of St. Louis, MO and Kristi (Doug) Shade of Palmyra, MO; step grandchildren, Miki (Jeremy) Geisendorfer of Monticello, MO, Neil (Jen) Richardson of Herculaneum, MO and Adam Richardson of Napa, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton, Mo., with Rev. Randy Ewart officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 p.m. until time of services at 6:30 p.m.
Private family interment will be held in the Linville Cemetery in Edina, Mo.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Activities Departments of Maplelawn Nursing Home in Palmyra, Mo., or to the Parklane Care and Rehabilitation Center in Wentzville, Mo.
