JOSHUA D. CHILDRESS

Joshua D. Childress, 31, of Canton, Mo., died February 2, 2018 at his home in Canton.

He was born March 19, 1986 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., a son of Bob and Carla Childress.

Joshua loved riding motorcycles, working on vehicles, cooking and bbqing, racing and the loves of his life, his three beautiful children.

He is survived by two daughters and one son, Trinity Brooks Blackburn, October Lynn Childress and Nolan Bo-Dencil Childress all of Canton; his parents, Bob and Carla Childress of Canton; one sister, Bobbie Jo (Donald) Morgan of Canton; one niece Serenity Morgan of Canton; one grandmother Wanda Pearl of Canton and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Joshua was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dan O. and Naomi F. Childress and George Pearl Sr., Great Grandmother, Lola Coons and Uncle Dan B. (Buzz) Childress.

Visitation will be held Friday February 9, 2018 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton, Mo., with Rev. Brian Stone, Rev. Alvin K. Lewis and Rev. James Bridges officiating.Pallbearers: Teddy Livingston, Johnny Janes, Mitch Coons, Troy Downs, Kenny Crain, David Shepherd (Spelling), Shaun Shannon, Dave Wilson, Jimmy Porter. Honorary Pallbearers: Trinity Blackburn, October Childress, Nolan Childress and Serenity Morgan.

Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery in Canton.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Joshua Childress College Education Fund for his children.
