MADISON ROSE COBB

Madison Rose Cobb, 21 of rural Canton, Mo., died October 25, 2017 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

The daughter of Martin Cobb II and Cydney Rozenak Cobb was born on May 3, 1996 at Richmond Heights, Missouri.

Madison graduated from Canton High School Class of 2014. She was a member of the track team in high school and wanted to be a farmer. She worked at the Lewis County Nursing Home where she took pride in helping the residents. She liked to spend time with her family and go fishing, ride the four-wheeler and just be outdoors.

She is survived by her paternal grandparents, Randy and Charlie Cobb of Canton, Mo. and maternal grandfather, Leo Rozanek of St. Louis, Mo.; her father, Martin Cobb, II of Canton, Mo.; her mother and step-father, Cydney and Justin Johnson of Dupo, Il.; sisters, Hannah Cobb of Canton, Mo. and Nala Johnson of Dupo, Il.; brothers, Marty Cobb of Canton, Mo. and Eli Johnson of Dupo. Il.; niece, Audrey Calvert; aunts, Tina Cobb and Samantha Olliges; uncles, Buck Cobb, Evan Cobb, Alvin Cobb II and Matthew Etcheson; great aunt, Patricia McClure; great uncles, Gary Cobb and Will Owens; great-great uncle, Wendall Cobb; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal great grandparents, Reba and Alvin Cobb; maternal grandmother, Sherry Etcheson; and great aunt, Shirley Owens.

Memorial funeral services were held October 28, 2017 at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri with Rev. Mandy Gosik officiating. Visitation will be held preceding services.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or National Association for Down Syndrome.
