DAVID WEEKLEY

David Warren Weekley, Sr., 43 of Hannibal, Missouri died June 8, 2017 the result of a traffic accident at Bloomington, Illinois. The son of William Jesse Weekley and Jean Anne (Hassemer) Heaps was born on January 17, 1974 at Chester County, Pennsylvania. David was united in marriage to Patricia Nichols on March 31, 2012 at Canton, Missouri. He was a member of Life Tabernacle Church of Canton and drove a semi for Rocket Trucking of Hannibal. He liked to go fishing, hunting and being a grandpa. He is survived by his father, William J. Weekley of Ohio, his wife Patricia Weekley of Hannibal, Mo.; six daughters, Amanda Weekley, Rebecca Weekley, Nicole Weekley, Elizabeth Thompson, Rachel Thompson, all of Hannibal, Mo. and Elizabeth Weekley of Rutledge, Mo.; a son, David W. Weekley, Jr. of Hannibal, Mo.; grandson, David Skinner of Hannibal, Mo.; mother-in-law, Jewell Nichols of Memphis, Mo.; sister, Jessica Weekley of Ohio; two brothers, Stephen and Franklin Short of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, mother, Jean Heaps and a sister, Lisa Short. Funeral services were held, June 12, 2017 at the Life Tabernacle Church of Canton, Missouri wit h Rev. Paul Kinney and Rev. Phillip Darnell officiating. Visitation preceded services. Pallbearers: Phillip Darnell, Michael Skinner, David Weekley, Jr., Eric Kruger, Jacob Pittman and Linn Schmitz. Burial was in Forest Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be to the family of David W.
