MAJORIE BURWELL

Marjorie Sue [Bringer] Burwell 77, passed away surrounded by her family on January 19 2017 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy Illinois. Marjorie was the daughter of Raymond and Roberta [Setler] Bringer. She was born on July 24, 1939. After graduating from LaGrange High School she lived most of her adult life in Illinois. She and her husband owned and operated several taverns in the Peoria area. Left to honor her memory are two sisters Betty Seydel of Washington, Iowa, Verlinda [Marvin] Prior of Columbus Junction, Iowa, brother Doug [Lidia] Bringer of Homestead, Iowa, and one sister-in-law Janet Bringer of Canton, Mo., eight nieces and five nephews plus numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Alan, two husbands, John and Bob, two sisters Jean Long and JoDene Bringer, one brother Johnny Bringer, two nephews Kent and Kim Long and special friend Jerry Turney. Per her wishes she will be cremated. Memorial services will be held for Marjorie on Saturday January 28th at Canton Eagles Aerie Club 1800 at 6 p.m. All family and friends are invited to attend.
