STEVEN ALLEN

Steven Eugene Allen, 54 of Canton, Missouri died January 11, 2017 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois. The son of Kenneth and Juanita Bevill Allen was born on October 15, 1962 at Hannibal, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Gayle Epley on July 14, 2010 at Monticello, Missouri. Steve liked to watch NASCAR races and was an avid Jimmy Johnson fan. He also liked to watch wrestling, go fishing, do yard work, spend time with family and friends and go see his “Cindy girl” at the Kountry Skillet. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Allen of Canton, Mo.; two daughters, Tiffany Allen of Canton, Mo. and Christina Flamin of Oregon; two sons, Matthew and Kenneth Clatt of Popular Bluff, Mo.; four step-daughters, Katherine Ward, Diana Hines, Jaime Lubki and Lara Ledbetter all of Hannibal, Mo.; five grandchildren; three sisters, Brenda K. Allen of Canton, Mo., Carolyn (Rick) Small of Frederick, Oklahoma and Diana (Steve) Smith of Canton, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Allen and Juanita Allen-Nichols; step-father, Robert Nichols; daughter, Anita Allen and sister, Anita Reeves. Funeral services were held January 15, 2017 at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri with Rev. Paul Kinney officiating. Pallbearers: Michael Slater, Neil Slater, Derek Robertson, Troy Downs, Glenn Cook and David Vice. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery.
