ROBERT 'CHRIS' CAMPEN

Robert C. 'Chris' Campen, 56, of Quincy, died November 28, 2016, at Blessing Hospital. Chris was born August 15, 1960 in Canton, Missouri, the son of Robert Frederick 'Sarge' and Martha Jean Goodwin Campen. He married Jackie Sigler on June 2, 1990 in Quincy. She survives. Chris worked at Good Samaritan home for 30 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene where he taught the youth group, worked with the kids and drove the church bus. He was also an avid deer hunter. Survivors in addition to his wife include two sons, Westley (Victoria) Campen and Dustin Campen both of Quincy; his adored granddaughter, Aubrey Campen of Quincy; five adopted children, Josie Taylor, Judy Campen, Junior Campen, John Campen, and James Campen; his mother, Martha Campen of Canton, Mo; a sister, Margaret Ann (John) Terry of Columbia, Mo; his mother-in-law, Wilma Sigler of Quincy; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Campen of Canton, Mo, numerous nieces and nephews, Robert was preceded in death by his father and a brother, George Campen. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Rev Wayne LeForce officiating.
