DELORES HERRICK

Mrs. Delores V. Herrick, 91 of Canton, Missouri died October 11, 2016 at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Mo.The daughter of Hurley and Mildred (Lillard) Burke was born on July 29, 1925 in rural Lewis County, Missouri.She was united in marriage to Eugene Herrick in November of 1948 in Yuma, Arizona. He preceded her in death in February of 1984.Delores was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton. She was also a member of the Canton Civic Club, V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Lewis County Nursing Home Auxiliary and a bible study group. She is survived by her daughter, Sharron Lukens and husband Jerry of South Jordan, Utah; two grandsons, Brandon Lukens and wife Brittany of Pleasant Grove, Utah and Kendal Lukens of Fairfield, California; a great-granddaughter, Kyree Lukens; sister-in-law, Becky Burke of Canton, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Donald and James Burke. Funeral services were held October 15, 2016 at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri with Rev. Harry Cooper officiating. Music: Recorded selections, “How Great Thou Art”, “Amazing Grace”, “I Know That My Redeemer Livith”Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery.Memorials may be made to the Lewis County Nursing Home Auxiliary.
