HOMER L. TASCO

Mr. Homer L. Tasco, 81, of La Grange, Mo., died October 1, 2016. He was born August 2, 1935 in La Grange, Mo., a son to Hartley L. Tasco Sr. and Mabel Allen Tasco. Homer was of the Baptist faith and a member of Green Chapel Church in La Grange. He attended Fairview Black School in La Grange. He was employed by Donald Solter as a farm hand and worked with his brother, Hartley, in the scrap metal recycling business. His hobbies included operating and fixing tractors. He loved his oldies and blues, and his family. And let us not forget his grass cutting skills. Survivors include his brother, Paul Tasco, son, Lonnie Hickman and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Orville, Fred and Hartley Tasco, Jr., his sisters, Oma Smith of Denver, CO, Clarissa Campbell, Geraldine Hendrick of Quincy, IL, sister-in-law Norma J of La Grange, niece Soretna Tasco and nephew Ernie Bradshaw. Graveside services and burial will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Marks Cemetery in La Grange with Rev. John H. Mims officiating. Pallbearers will be: Ordello Tasco, Keith Tasco, Kevin Tasco, Todd Tasco, Caleb Tasco and Pete Stapp. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Roger Renfro, Tony Tasco, Randy Lewis, Terry Tasco, Doug Lewis and Phil Bradshaw In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Davis Funeral Home, La Grange, Mo.
