DALE DEAN FOUNTAIN

Dale Dean Fountain, 59, of St. Patrick, Mo., died June 26, 2015 at Blessing Hospital at Quincy, IL.

He was born August 11, 1955 in Yankton, South Dakota a son of Raymond Rex and Ella Emma Turnovec Fountain. He married Patricia Ann Tallman on December 17, 1977 in Pella, Iowa. She survives.

Dale was an over the road truck driver for 23 years traveling mostly the west coast, he enjoyed doing bodywork and restoring cars along with fishing and woodworking. He also took pleasure in helping his wife with her daycare work. His favorite dog was Buddy, but he loved all of his dogs and he especially loved being with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending time with his good friend Orban Smith cutting up and making jokes.

Survivors include his wife Pat of St. Patrick, daughter, Kim (Phillip) Darnell of Canton; two grandsons, Keagan and Dillon Brayton of Lisbon, IA; two granddaughters, Olivia and Jenna Darnell of Canton; one brother, LeRoy Allen (Mary) Fountain of Aurora, MO and one sister, Betty Ruth Lane of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Michelle Brayton.

Memorial services were held June 30, 2015 at Life Tabernacle Church in Canton, Mo., with Pastor Paul Kinney officiating.
