Tristan Porter was named the tenth to twelfth grade Student of the Month at Canton High School for the month of August. Tristan is the daughter of Chad and Jennifer Porter. She is a senior who is involved in FBLA, Key Club, National Honor Society, soccer, dance, and is also the senior class vice president. Tristan placed second in at the 2015 Missouri State FBLA Contest, and advanced to the national competition held in Chicago, Illinois where she placed sixth.
