Sharron Bishoff, 76, of Canton, Mo., died April 22, 2016 in the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton.

Sharron was born March 25, 1940, in rural Canton, Mo., daughter of Ernest and Wahnetta Walker Lillard Fretwell. She married Karl Bishoff March 15, 1959 in Providence Baptist Church, Williamstown, Mo.

Sharron was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Canton, teaching Sunday School for 30 years. She was also a member of Chapter B.S. of PEO and Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading, antiquing, china painting, traveling and was known for making hard candy at Chistmas to share. She was a doting grandmother and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include husband Karl of Canton, daughters Leigh Ann Stiehl (Kevin) of Wildwood, Kim Porter (Jim) of Ursa, IL and Karyn Thompson (Mike) of Chesterfield; six grandchildren, Alison and Drew Stiehl, Tim and Tyler Porter, Abby and Lola Thompson; brothers Kent Lillard (Wendy) of Kansas City and Dan Lillard (Val) of Beloit, Wisc.; sisters-in-law Dixie Smith of Warrenton and Linda Riggs (Dave) of Kahoka, brother-in-law Keith Bishoff of LaBelle; aunts Jenilee Walker Lemmon of St. Louis, Irma Jean Walker of Canton and Juanita Lillard Buhrer of Atlanta as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Allen Lillard and Norman Lillard, brother-in-law Kenneth Bishoff, sisters-in-law Donna Bishoff Hudnut, Gynell Bishoff Hudnut and Louise Bishoff Ridgely.

Funeral services were held, April 26, 2016 at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Doug Walter officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery at Williamstown, Mo.

The family suggests memorials be made to Providence Cemetery or to the Lewis County Nursing Home Auxiliary.
