PAULINE DAWSON

Pauline Dawson, 93, of Ewing, Mo., died April 22, 2016, in Country Aire Retirement Estates in Lewistown, Mo.

She was born February 17, 1923, in Shelby County, MO, the daughter of Robert A. and Nellie Redman Darley. She was united in marriage to Francis Lee Cleatice Dawson on November 25, 1942, in Hannibal, Mo., and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2015.

Pauline received her education in Steffenville where she graduated from High School. Pauline and her husband resided most of their life in the Steffenville area where they were engaged in farming and raising cattle. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Pauline enjoyed cake decorating, ceramics, crocheting, quilting, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Lee Dawson and wife Virgie Lee of Steffenville, MO, Dennis James Dawson and wife Kathy Lee of Ewing, MO, one granddaughter Leann Jensen and husband Andrew of Grimes, Iowa, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pauline was also preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Geraldine Dawson.

Funeral services were held April 25, 2016, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Mo. Music provided by Erin Wright singing, “How Great Thou Art” and a recorded selection “Where the Roses Never Fade”. Visitation was held April 24, 2016, . in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Mo.

Burial will be in the LaBelle Cemetery.
