Cheering On The Cougars
Amanda Raleigh received the Spirit Stick during a recent basketball game. Amanda Raleigh is a senior at Highland Highschool. This is Amanda's last basketball season as a cheerleader with hHghland and her team mates. She signed with Culver and will be starting her own business as a Cosmetologists. Amanda is the daughter of Frank and Betty Raleigh from Ewing Mo. The cheerleaders will be cheering on the Cougars this week during district basketball tournaments held in Palmyra. Highland Lady Cougars advanced in the first round defeating Clark County 54-26 with Keera Rothweiler with 15 points and Addy Abell with 14 points . In games last week the Lady Cougars lost to South Chelby 40-32 with Chevie Sharpe scoring 12 points. The team defeated Palmyra 47-38 with Addy Abell scoring 13 points.
