LYNN FOX  

Lynn Dee Fox, of Canton, Mo, died unexpectedly at his home on December 29, 2022 from natural causes. He was born on January 21, 1944, a son of Dale R. Fox and Dorothy A. Hoewing-Fox. Lynn was a graduate of Canton High School, attended Simpson College, and lived near or in Canton for most of his life.

Lynn married Martha J. Uhlmeyer on November 14, 1964. They had two children, James Fox and Jane (Fox) Hunziker. Lynn married Pamela (Fox) Day on January 12, 2004.

Lynn dedicated his early years as a farmer. He spent his later years working on various occupations including real estate sales, license bureau director, property manager with his last years spent in a job he loved with Knapheide, Quincy, Ill.

His many friends found him always happy, ready for a good chat, and a joke or two.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Pamela Day.

Lynn is survived by his children, James Fox of Tahlequah, Okla., and Jane Hunziker of Canton, Mo.; step children, Jesse Watson of Kearney, Mo., Tauri Berhorst of Canton, Mo.; grand children and step grand children, Brooke Fox, Rye Hunziker, Shaw Hunziker, Sadie Fox, Gabe Hunziker, Sam & Claire Watson and Dale, Ashlynn, and Noah Berhorst; and first cousin Dennis Owen of Kahoka, Mo.

Visitation Services are to be held on Friday, January 6 from 5-7 pm at Davis Funeral Home in Canton, Mo.

The family suggests memorials be made to Forest Grove Cemetery Association or or Bluff Springs Cemetery in care of Davis Funeral Home, P.O. Box 108, Canton, MO 63435.
