CHARLES “ROB” PATCHIN

Charles R. “Rob” Patchin of Brashear, Missouri died May 14, 2022 in rural Adair County, Missouri.

The son of Robert E. Jr. and Linda Sharpe Patchin was born on September 21, 1967 at Quincy, Illinois.

He was united in marriage to Carin Shcolnik on July 18, 1987 at Las Vega, Nevada.

Rob served in the U. S. Marine Corps. He was the Associate Pastor at Heartland Community Church for 15 years and also served as Director of the Men’s Recovery Center. He was a major practical joker and liked to travel and take the “back roads” with his dad. He loved his family especially his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Carin Patchin of Brashear, Mo.; three children, Courtney (Dr. Jordan) Palmer of Kirksville, Mo., Amber Patchin of Casper, Wy. and Robert J. (Robbie) Patchin of Brashear, Mo.; grandchildren, Piersen and Valerie Palmer, Raymond and Aeliana Yohe; two brothers, Sean Patchin of Blue Springs, Mo. and Devon (Renea) Patchin of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; aunt, Barb Brewer of Kahoka, Mo. and Carol (Willard) Boone of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown, Missouri with Dr. Kris Palmer officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:30 until the time of services at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown. Pallbearers: Robbie Patchin, Jordan Palmer, Blake Spaniol, Brandon Kelly, Lane Speake and Mike Thompson. Honorary Pallbearer: Craig Knapp.

Burial will be in the Lewistown Cemetery with Military Honors by Lewis County Memorial Post 578.
