Culver-Stockton Alumni Honors Banquet

Culver-Stockton College hosted its annual Alumni Honors Banquet on April 8, 2022, as part of a special Spring Honors Weekend. The institution conferred its top alumni recognition, the Distinguished Alumni Award, on three alumni during the 2022 reception. This year’s recipients are Gina (Hagen) Driscoll (BS 1983) of East Peoria, Illinois, who is a member of the Culver-Stockton College Board of Trustees and served in a number of leadership roles with State Farm Insurance during her 34-year career; Robert “Bob” Stone (BA 1971, posthumous award) who was a member of the Culver-Stockton College Board of Trustees and founded AMS Chemical; and Dr. Z. Bruno Wu (BS 1990) of Shanghai, China, a technology and media entrepreneur. Recipients of the Outstanding Young Alumni Award are Jennifer (McReynolds) Berhorst (BA 2006) of Kansas City, Missouri, who is a Partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP; and Aaron Niemeier (BS 2000) of Lenexa, Kansas, who has served in many leadership roles in information technology and financial services. Quincy, Illinois, native Anthony “Tony” Crane (1974), who was a founding partner and a past officer in the Architectural-Engineering firm of Architechnics, Inc., received the Alumni Leadership and Service Award in recognition of his longtime service on the Culver-Stockton College Board of Trustees and his involvement with other local and regional volunteer organizations.
In addition to conferring alumni awards, Culver-Stockton College recognized two at-large C-SC community members for their contributions to the institution. The Dome Award, which honors a College employee who has played an essential role in the advancement of the College, awarded to James “Jim” Cosgrove (BA 1997) of Hamilton, Illinois. He was a longtime accounting and business law professor until his 2021 retirement. Finally, the Honorary Wildcat Award to Donna Stone of South Barrington, Illinois. Their contributions and connection to the institution have made a significant impact on Culver-Stockton College.
