LAURIE LOTZ

Laurie R. Lotz, 60, of Quincy, died January 10, 2016) in Blessing Hospital. 

 Born March 30, 1955 in Quincy, Laurie was the daughter of William F. and Virginia Lou (Schnellbacher) Beal. She had been married to John Weber Lotz. 

 Laurie enjoyed working in her yard and loved animals, especially dogs and cats. 
Laurie had been employed in Retail, working in Illinois and Georgia for Talbot's and T. J. Maxx. She retired in 2013 as the Assistant Manager for C. J. Banks in Quincy. 

 Survivors include a son, Jason Lotz of Alexandria, VA; her father, William Beal (Elizabeth Kahl) of Marion, IL; a sister, V. Lynne Beal Crnkovich of Arlington, Texas, a niece, Katie Myers of Dallas, Texas, aunt Joann Leeser and cousin Brian Leeser of LaGrange, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia; and an aunt, Marian Ruth Beal. 

 Funeral services were held Jan. 15 in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by Pastor Steve Disseler.

Burial was in the LaGrange Memorial Cemetery, LaGrange, Missouri. 

 Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 12:00 until the time of services at the funeral home. 

Memorials may be made to the Vizsla Rescue Society or the Ruth B. Beal Scholarship Fund at Truman State University.
