ANNA M. MORRIS

Mrs. Anna M. Morris, 92, of Canton, Mo., died January 14, 2016 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

She was born February 12, 1923 in Quincy, Ill., a daughter Alfred and Pansie Knott. She married Elmer Morris on March 4, 1976 in Columbia, Mo. He died December 25, 1989

Anna worked at Culver Stockton College for over twenty years retiring in 1986. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great mother. She enjoyed being with her family and helping others and visiting with neighbors on her outdoor swing.

Survivors include eight children; Stanley (Joan) Gladwell of Hotchkiss Colorado, Larry Gladwell, Weaverville Calif. Alfred (Pug) Rankin, Weaverville Calif. ,Jane (Ted) Livingston, Canton Mo, Joe Rankin, Springfileld Mo., Bonnie (Ken) Garkie, LaGrange, Mo., Rose (Layne) Roskamp, Quincy, Ill., and Russell (Annette ) Rankin, Burlington Iowa; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Diane Bozarth, son, Mike Rankin, grandson Alfred Taylor Rankin II and daughter in law Vickie Gladwell.

Graveside services and burial were held January 16, 2016 in Forest Grove Cemetery, Canton, Mo. Pallbearers were: Teddy Livingston, Teddy Joe Livingston, Kevin Schmidt, Ken Garkie, Layne Roskamp and  Jacob Davis.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Carson Schmidt Education Fund.
