DOROTHY M. FOGLESONG

Mrs. Dorothy M. Foglesong, 85, of Taylor, Mo., died January 7, 2016 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.

She was born August 6, 1930 in Steffenville, Mo., a daughter of Clyde Henry and Myrtle Mae Neatorour Goodwin. She married Kenneth Wells on November 1, 1947. He passed away on October 14, 1966. She later married Olin Foglesong in December 1969. He passed away December of 2006.

Dorothy was of the Baptist faith. She worked over the years at Hannibal Hospital, the Palmyra Shoe Factory and was a caregiver for several elderly in their homes.

Survivors include her children; David (Doris) Wells of Canton, Mo., Larry Wells of Bethel, Mo., Rodney (Pat) Wells of Quincy, Ill., Brenda (John) Friedhoff of Maywood, Mo., and Gary (Toni) Foglesong of Taylor, Mo., and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brothers and a daughter, Patricia Pratt.

Funeral services were held January 11, 2016 at the Davis Funeral Home in Canton, Mo., with Pastor Brian Stone officiating. Music: Recorded selections. Pallbearers: Jason Wells, Stephen Wells, Randy Wells, John Friedhoff Jr., Derek Wells, Eric Fischer. Honorary Pallbearers: Larry Wells, Jr. and Kenny Hanie.

Burial was in Forest Grove Cemetery in Canton.

The family suggests memorials be made to Lions Club International.
