Mary B. Logsdon, 74 of Canton, Mo. died, December 21, 2015 at Country Aire

Retirement Estates near Lewistown, Mo.

The daughter of George and Ellen (Soltz) Smith was born on April 27, 1941 at Rome, Georgia.

She was united in marriage to Seldon L. Logsdon on August 31, 1972 at Austell, Georgia. He

preceded her in death on December 15, 2007.

Mary was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Canton and formerly worked at the

Dykstra Clinic for many years. She liked to square dance and enjoyed her trips to Texas.

She is survived by her son, David Brooks and Rachel Wilson of Canton, Mo.; three

grandchildren, C.J. Brooks, Stacie Ann Brooks and Lauren Elizabeth Brooks; three great-

grandchildren; sister, Norma May of Florida; brother, Bobby Smith of Georgia; half sister, Charlsie

Ann of Alabama; half brother, Charles Allen Mayfield of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Michael James Brooks and brother, Joe Smith.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16,

2015 at 2 p.m. at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton, Mo., with Father Angelus Minj officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday after 1 p.m. until the time of services at Arnold’s Funeral

Inurnment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, St. Patrick, Mo.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Canton.
