GARY RICHARDSON

Gary Green Richardson stepped into Heaven to be with Jesus on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. He was born June 21, 1940 in LaGrange, Missouri, a son of Leona Crandall and his step-father, Carl Crandall.

Gary was a 1958 graduate of LaGrange High School. He served four years in the U.S. Navy and worked as an electrician at A.P. Green Refractories, retiring after 32 years. He was a member of Rush Hill Community Church and the American Legion.

Gary is survived by his wife, Carol of Mexico; one son, Jeff Richardson of Mexico; one step-son, Carlow Strus and wife, Nina, of Springdale, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Cassy Mundy of Festus; step-sister, Carla O’Brien and her husband, Jeremy, of Brookfield; step-mother, Sharron Crandall of Brookfield; sister-in-law, Linda Laws of Olathe, Kansas; brother-in-law, Alan Schork and wife, Anna, of Maquoketa, Iowa; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his mother and step-father.

Visitation was held Dec. 11, 2015 at Rush Hill Community Church. Memorial services followed at the church with Rev. Bob Stanford officiating.

Burial will take place at Marks Cemetery in LaGrange at a later date.
